Did he kill the her dog, I know he killed a dog but then she looks in the window and see's her dog and he says tricked you. So what happened to the dog?
shareI think it meant that she just killed some random dog and not hers. But one could interput it as I tricked you into thinking this dog behind the glass was yours and you really did kill your dog.

The way I see it is that she did kill her dog. She shot it, blood went everywhere, it's dead.
Then later he had a recording of her dog which he showed her through the window (just like the fake beach resort type shot he projected onto the wall of her cell at the beginning) he then turned the recording off and held up the card saying "Ha ha tricked you" (or whatever) because for a second she thought her dog was still alive and she didn't kill it after all.
If the dog was still alive she would have got it before she left. If the dog in the window was a double rather than a recording, why bother going to all the trouble of getting another dog?

No, it was some random lookalike dog that got killed. It's not a recording because you see the figure grab the dog before showing the cards. It's more tortuous to have her think she did have her own dog killed, just like before when he had her believe the acid ruined her face. Also the card after "tricked you" read "NOBODY'S PERFECT" but I don't know what to make of that.

sharegizmo-- I thought the same thing but then I thought, after they blow my head off, they are more than likely going to kill my dog anyway. I would have at least started talking to the dog and told him that I loved him. And it happened so quick that he wouldn't have felt anything.

It felt like the "tricked you" bit was added in at the last minute. I remember in BASEketball they said in an interview they added the fake hand prop after they thought it was initially too violent to have Trey Parker cut of his finger ina psych out. Maybe the people who made this though the dog was one step too far.

Whether the dog was hers or a look alike does not matter... she thought it was Suzy and still choose her own life over the one she was responsible for! Even if the film makers chicken out at the end by showing HER dog alive, SHE STILL KILL SOME POOR DOG.
That was the point of no return for me; I was hoping she'd get gruesomely killed.
She killed the dog, when he says he tricked you it was him showing a video of her dog when it was still alive... Just like in the beginning he tricked her into thinking she was on some paradise island with a beach playing on the wall (how that was technically possible, don't ask)
