Hostel and Hostel Part 2 are two of my favorite horror films of all time. Even all 7 Saw movies aren't that great as pieces of art but they have their shlocky entertainment value for sure.

But Captivity...

....this is just trash. Sick, disgusting, pointless trash. I have nothing against sick and disgusting, though. I like sick and disgusting if it's with some kind of point, some kind of context. Hostel and to a lesser extent Hostel 2 managed to say a lot about society. Captivity has no social value, no entertainment value, no artistic value. It's just junk, and the only way you could enjoy this film is if you get off on watching women defiled, degraded and stripped of their humanity. Even thinking about this movie makes me feel sick.

I watched this recently on cable yes not near as great as Hostel and Saw films. maybe the writers thought only blood here made a good movie

Rob Zombie is one of the greatest directors today

Hostel was boring and really sucked. Nothing good happened until the end.

Watch your mouth OP, you're asking for trouble.

This movie is a modern-day HORROR classic.

You will not find many more movies as good as this one in this day-in-age.

A bright light can hollow the deepest of nothingness.
