when he tied a stone around his waist and climed the mountains to keep the statue on the top of the hill ... whilst the song in teh background said ' He prayed for the son, the children, for 100 days':

2. did he actually pray on top of teh hill for 100 days?

also when the cops were taking him away ... the boat did not work first for a second and he looked at his master as if he knew his master is doing that - did the master have powers like that?

I was going to ask the same question. My assumption was that there is no definite time span from the scene where he is with the baby to the scene where you see him walk on the monastery porch with the stone tied from his waist. I suppose during that time span he went to a village or something so they could nurse the baby, maybe a few years even, until the baby was old enough to be taken care of by a monk. And while this happens he does his 100 day thing.

That's a good interpretation MrsSirPaul. I wanted to know if anyone else caught this, since I thought it was irresponsible he would just leave the child.

I tonight it was done in a couple of hours while the baby was taking a long nap.

Yeah I did wonder what happened to the baby but I assumed he locked him in the house whilst he went away.. Not exactly responsible but it obviously turned out ok
