As an expat Scot living in Malaysia I wanted to know where this was filmed - apart from Glasgow!! - but there are no details here on IMDB Anybody know where it was filmed, please?

I'm sure bits weren't filmed in Glasgow, but mostly the streets/buildings/places, particularly in series 3, are recognisably Glasgow sites. The university building, some of the shops, some of the streets and lanes.
Series 1 was mostly filmed in London, if that's what you mean?
