Did this movie kill Mark Dindal's career?

Did the movie kill Mark Dindal's directing career or was he just demoralized after the failure of this picture and just decided to vanish for half a decade? This was his project, he came up with the story, directed it, saw it become the disaster that it became (and yes I'm 17 and old enough to remember when this came out and yeah, it was a disaster pretty much immediately on release. It didn't take years to figure out how much of an epically disappointing film this was).

1. For one, it was being billed as Disney's first CGI-animated film. Back then, I thought, "well, since their drawn animated features weren't as good as their others, this better be good. Now that they're doing CGI without Pixar, this better be good." So as you can tell, I was pretty excited for it when it came out. And the director behind it also did Cats Don't Dance and The Emperor's New Groove, so how could they possibly screw this up? And then, disappointment came. But that will be for another topic.

2. It's cool that he's coming up with new projects. Hopefully, his career is not completely doa.

3. You might be right on this one. Eisner is nothing more than a greedy sexist bastard (OK, that was going a little too far) who tarnished the name of Walt Disney. Thank god he moved out of the company for good.

Anyways, that's my two cents.

Sorry mate. I won't say that "Chicken Little" was a totally disaster of a movie, it had it's enjoyable moments. But it had some obviously weaknesses. I will try to mention them.

- I didn't liked the song "All I Know". I slowed the movie down and didn't fit it.
- The movie was very much too frenetic and so was the score by John Debney (the score was nicer at the slower parts).
- Much of the emotional parts didn't felt really emotional and just sentimental. They didn't flowed well with the rest of the film.
- I disliked the part when Chicken Little is about to ring the school bell and then get a flashback of "the sky is falling". That scene was so badly done, really embarrasing. The animation, the timing, all of it.

But I liked:
- Abby.
- The reference humor.
- The plot.
- The animation.

I won't say that "Chicken Little" was a totally awful movie, but as a whole it isn't good enough. But it has it's moments. Sorry if I'm not constructive enough
