Was funny while stoned, but sober?

Nope, it wasn't. The only episodes that stood out are the Naked Beach Frenzy because of all the nudity, and Ren Seeks Help for the sheer wtf level of the episode. I guess the "Hey Bakshi hasn't been busy for two decades, let's get him in on it" second Fire Dogs episode was...memorable. Honestly the only thing I remember is "It's bigger than a baby" and that's it.

I just don't get it. What was the point in making this? Did he WANT to burn down the only thing people actually know him for? Because everything else I've ever seen by John K has been unwatchable crap. George Liquor, his Spike and Mike stuff, etc. etc. it just all sucks. He spends so much time criticizing animation in the country, and yet everything he does looks exactly the same at each other, especially today. I admit, I liked Ren and Stimpy, and I still do today, but honestly, I don't see any difference between when he was on the show, and when he wasn't part of the show. I think most of my favorite episodes actually came AFTER he was fired. My favorite side character in the R&S series was Elmer Cobb, which as far as I know came after he was gone.

This though? This horrible attempt at being shocking and edgy? They are all crap. I said the two episodes stand out, but I didn't say they were good. They aren't good. None of this crap is good. It's just a guy who's for some reason way up on a high horse trying to re-do the ONE thing people know him for.
