People in groups of three.

After the art lecture piece, and Henry walks outside to see Sam they start walking through the building while talking. You immediately notice the three business women who look very similar. What I just noticed when re-watching this is there are a lot more groups of three people who are dressed and look alike in those few clips. They also all appear to be female, although can't quite remember. Does anyone know the symbolism behind this?

I noticed that too, but have no idea what it means, sorry.

It's because Henry's damaged brain couldn't make up the people in the story, so he had to double up, triple up, on characters. The guy in the train who calls him a freak is also the book shop owner. He didn't have enough brain power to create enough characters.

Good eye! Just noticed that when I watched it. It definitely resembles Henry's lost perception or fragile state... some are saying henry was in a dream state.
