Last scene of Lila in the 'dream'

I read a lot of (very helpful) discussions on here but couldn't find the meaning behind that last 'dream' scene with Lila where she rattled the door. Why was she trapped and what did she see, and what did she realize when she found out about henry's paintings? (or rather, what did this mean in henry's 'dream'.

Henry was a frustrated artist and wanted to be remembered by the world after he was gone!

So when Lila saw that the paintings were among her things, she realized he had been a student of hers. Trying to get out to tell someone was Henry's brain struggling to say "I am here, remember me."

I am not sure it is right to tell dying people to stay. As the movie trailer said you are not supposed to stay.
