can someone explain this to me?

I have been looking for this and i couldn't find it anywhere, so i was hoping someone could answer me.
everyone says that the whole story was in Henry's head, right? because when he was dying on the ground he heard that his family and girlfriend were all dead, and felt guilty and stuff. so he tried to figure it all in his head, or smth.
my question is: if it's all in Henry's mind why is it that the "dream" was showed to us by Sam's perspective? i don't get it. it all seems that everything is in Sam's head, not Henry's. that made me confuse.

Maybe everything we saw was Henry's (jumbled up reality) with Sam's face. As if, Henry was analyzing his life and his brain created the shrink character and stuck Sam's identity on it.

I agree. I think Henry created the shrink as his alter ego and used him to analyze and reflect on his life and memories from another perspective.

Personally I think we see it from Sam's POV because Henry wanted Sam to save him

I was wondering the same thing... if it's all in Henry's head, then why do we see Sam seeing the flashbacks of his and Lila's relationship which makes him ask her to
go get coffee with him after the accident?
