Whos dreaming ? sam or henry

While it makes sense to me after hvin watched the movie and reading the posts that it was henry who was hvin the NDE and imagining things..somehow is it possible that it was SAM who looked at all the characters at the accident point and the movie was in sam' mind ..

sam tried in the whole movie to help henry to not die ( in the mind) as a (psychiatrist)..convincing him to STAY..probably was sure tht if henry wanted he could hv lived..

Lila' suicide is also on his mind as he thinks henry is almost committing suicide and he agrees that he cannot/did not help lila ..she helped herself..

he saw the ppl in the car and so imagined henry' dad ..mom..athena..references to play hamlet etc point : To be or not to be..sam even tries to tell henry that it was the fault of the tires but henry says it way to much pain too live and shoots himself....(agreed henry ws not guilty but didnt hv any reason to live possibly)..

alternate explanations indicate it was henry (in sam') who was imagining all the things and the ppl...either way movie ws nice and mind bending..need to watch it more to capture the subtle moments like the twins outside the lecture..the king/moose and farmer story..color of theit eyes !!

I thought the same thing !

After I watched the movie, I thought the only possible way all this has truly happened is that Sam tried so hard to save Henry after the accident but he couldn't. He got PTSD or was just too affected by what he'd seen that he suffered a few days after that: day dreams , hallucinations , .. etc. and they all were made of the same elements present in the accident. I checked the forum and I haven't found this interpretation anywhere but here, I guess we got it the same way.

I gave an explanation in another thread (about twins and triplets). For details, go there. But in a nutshell, when we see at the end that Lila and Sam are trying to help him, we learn that the entire film has been from Henry's perspective as he lays dying.
