A remarkable discovery - hidden gem

The editing of this movie - specifically the transition cut scenes were fantastic. I was unable to sit straight through my first sitting just playing with the remote and watching the scene transitions over and over again. To me? it's that the story is oblique and challenging - AND - weird and fun. I love these kinds of movies.

Agreed a hidden gem. I only came across it because I was going through Bob Hoskin's movies and came to this one that I'd never heard of before. Though the Director did Monster's Ball so he rang a bell.

A great story with a great ending I think. It didn't all fall in to place for me until the final few minutes on the bridge. It was challenging to work out the relationship between Sam and Henry, but not overly taxing. I could enjoy the intrigue without being bugged by the confusion. Anyway that's just how I felt!

Agreed. This film was a nice little sleeper. I purchased the DVD for only three bucks at a local Best Buy in Central New Jersey.
