I love it.
Yeah, I think this a really damn fun flick. Surprised that there aren't more that feel the same way.

shareTook seven years for someone to realize that. It was a great movie for what it was in the action scenes and music were great.
shareAnd Nick Chilund made an incredibly fun villain too! And it's visually gorgeous.
shareAgree with every statement above, foremost i love the score when she's about to give up, it is very well composed, conveying a rare & subtle taste of melancholy, or above, with no weight. It's her world... keeping a distance.
Also it leads to a philosophy about tears, if you pay attention to symbolism, at 2 moments at least. This isn't nonsense : tears of joy maybe - in the score, connected to memory with her parents, and to salvation with the boy.
Me too! What's funny is when people take total fantasy/science fiction and complain about how this or that wasn't "realistic"...that's gotta be one of the dumbest arguments against it.
It was like watching a comic book come totally to life, I loved it *^^)b
