The back of the DVD says Dick was deported to Mexico. I thought he and the other illegal immigrants were thrown in jail. Did Jane drive to Mexico and help him break out? The backs of DVDs are sometimes inaccurate. Is that the case here?

I don't think he was deported. They put him in a detention centre for immigrants (I'm sure there's another word for it, but I've forgotten). Perhaps that jail was in Mexico? I assumed it wasn't, but maybe it was and as you said Jane drove there.

We also know it's in Mexico because near the end Carrey is talking to someone (can't remember if it was Baldwin's character or not) and says that he spent a little time in Mexico, hahaha.

Yeah, when he tells McAllister all that has happened to him since he lost his job, he mentions being deported. Dick and the immigrants were being held just over the border in Mexico. Jane drove the car right up to the border, and Dick and the guys make a run for it, and get to the car. When you see them make a break for it, it was Immigration agents that came in, in the trucks.
