Anyone who rates this film above 3 stars should be shot. Honestly this is one of the worst comedies... actually sod it, the worst films I have ever seen. I went on holiday recently and this was the movie on the plane. All I had to watch on a very VERY long flight.

Was a bloody nightmare. Don't get me wrong I like Carey and I think he's funny (kind of) but this was.... sh!te. No real story, not even funny and 100% pointless. Utter w@nk.

Yeah, I normally like Jim Carrey but this movie was unwatchable. Nothing funny about it whatsoever!

I hope this is a joke. Anybody who rate this film below 5 stars wouldn't enjoy other comedies and wouldn't have any laughters in life. They would probably lead a boring and "laughless" life with sad looking faces.

It is obvious that the OP is not a Jim Carrey fan, and that goes the same for the following responses that support this immature post. Kids.

Hi MattBedo,

Well, I don't know whether you have read the message of the OP thoroughly. I don't disagree with the part whereby opinions are expressed freely in boards such as these, and that contradictory ideas will definitely exist. However, from the nature of the post that's being written, I still stick to my opinion that it's an immature post and not an opinion. The point of argument to reinforce my statement is as below:-

Anyone who rates this film above 3 stars should be shot.

Please note that the OP has made an ABSOLUTE claim that suggests this movie is crap. Apparently he/she doesn't care for other people's opinions. I reckon posts such as these would likely come from kids below 15 years of age.

You can't go one sentence without spewing vulgarities, and you threaten with violence about something so mundane as the rating of a movie on a website that has no affiliation with said movie, neverminding the film came out 3 years ago.

You are immature, and foolish. And no amount of Sh!t talking will change this. You are a child. Your foreign, Jim Carrey hating, simple minded opinion is noted, and washed away.

This could be the worst movie ever made, but your frothing doesn't make it so, and your abbrasive nature makes you no more intelligent or mature for the wear. You simply exude your ignorance, and ridiculously enough try to defend it.

Watched it a while ago and had to sit through it again tonight. The movie couldn't be much more heavy handed; it's not like it's hard to get what they're parodying, so why not try and be a little more subtle?

And even if the movie was well-written, which I sincerely don't think it was, the only way you'd appreciated much of it is if you followed the Enron scandle closely enough to know some of its ins and outs, but weren't so closely invovled that you'd want to cry because you lost everything you had.

And did anybody else find the ending to totally undermine the whole point of the film? Obviously there's no need to feel bad about people losing their jobs and pensions, because Jim Carry stole a bunch of money for them. Let's not leave the theater having to think about the situation or reflect on the implications.

If you think it's a bad film, you obviously haven't seen anything made by that moron Tyler Perry, or any of Eddie Murphy's recent stuff.

Eddie Murphy's career has definitley hit rock bottom.

This movie wasn't NEARLY as bad as "Norbit" or "Meet Dave". Jim Carrey, unlike Eddie Murphy, is funny. Don't get me wrong, I loved Murphy in "Doctor Doolitle". But still, his career has def. hit rock bottom.

This movie was entertaining, but it certainly wasn't historic or 'amazing'.

To the OP: I'm sure that some people in your country have made some pretty god-awful movies. However, I do give you guys credit for all of the movies you had Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in. Those two are damn good actors.

Am I not 'turtely' enough for the "Turtle Club"?

Oh sod it! This film is utter sh!te! I nearly spat out my fish and chips at the pub where this was playing during many scenes and called the bloody television a w@nker. I then drank a pint and had a fag before returning to my flat. This film can go shag itself.
