Worst Jim Carrey movie
I LOVED the cable guy, ace venture, lair lair, bruce almighty etc...
But THIS!?? Horrible.. boring.. etc etc
I agree, I like every Jim Carrey movie but this one.

right off it seemed like the name dick was a play on words for how the main role were behaving, so when things start to go bad for him, you're kind of not effected by what happens to this guy, since dick was a dick to begin with, how about early in the movie his neighbour has a more fancy car, while dick is stuck with only a bmw... poor guy... really, who is this suppose to appeal to? then there is the dog getting hurt "joke" on repeat... i'm quite familiar with the cash tune, but it's totally misplaced in the movie and sticks out. notice there are alternative front covers of this that looks similar but jane not always featured. the story of this movie is a bit similar to "trading places", but misses out on comedy and engagement for the main roles, and runs as a typical corny 21st century movie, i remember hearing much about this when it came out, it being a remake, which i take it has to be the better one, but i read that get just as bad reviews as this.

Its true dat. Nobody likes corporate high flyer parasites (like the bad guy in the film) They wanted dick to be one so he had a long way to fall , and maybe so he could have a scrooge like transformation and get over his love of money etc , but they didnt make him enough of a dick to do that, and also that first section about how great his new job was and the company folding was way too long
