Imdb says that the Budget is arround ... $100,000,000!
I think this information is waay wrong... or this is one of the most overpriced movie ever made.
Come on, what kind of movie you think you could make with $100,000,000? Easily a epic movie, with high-tech special effects, bunch of stars... Not a stupid comedy with Jim Carrey and Alec Baldwin

For once (sarcastically) IMDB gets something wrong. The real budget, depending on what source you want to believe was somewhere between 40 and 50 million. Considering that it did worldwide box office over $200 million it did not do too badly.
If you want to talk about overpriced comedies look at "Evan Almighty" which had a budget well in excess of $150 million and only grossed $173 million worldwide. Just to break even a movie has to gross more than double its budget.
Jim Carey's salary was 36% of the gross, which adds up to more than $70 million.
