Was there any particular reason that only one brother was at the Mom's Christmas?

I thought only one of the brothers was an actor and the other was a pro wrestler or stunt man? So it wouldn't make sense to include him in a scene that required much acting.

Maybe it was that he isn't with the mother anymore, and the game was being played by couples. But probably it was just that six people at the table already was enough, and more would just make the scene more cluttered.
