O'Connel or O'Donnel?
In the first movie, Mia's teacher's name is O'Connel. Her mother marries him, but now their last name is O'Donnel in the 2nd movie....which is it?

That's Disney, Garry Marshall and the scriptwriters getting sloppy. There's no excuse for it in this day and age when films are released on DVD a short while after and you can watch/listen frame by frame to look for all the continuity goofs and suchlike. Some you certainly don't have to look for because they almost poke you in the eye they are so obvious.
I think Marshall is a sloppy director anyway and first noticed this in Pretty Woman when Vivian was eating a pancake/croissant. In PD1 Joe's ear-ring was in the right ear, but in PD2 it was in the left. Why? What do they have continuity people for if they are not going to do their job?
