This movie was hugely popular when it came out

I think I saw this three times in the theater, and then another four on DVD because my wife's uncle is obsessed with this movie.
Everyone I knew was talking about this movie when it came out. Perfect blend of suspense and action.
Watched it today for the first time since 2005. I understand the 6.7 now. The acting really doesn't hold up. The story was always hogwash, but it's still a fun ride. It's too bad about the acting not holding up though. I don't remember it being so bad in 2004. Maybe it was because I was younger and didn't care as much?

It's because the Freemasons didn't want the movie to last.

Naw. It's good. :)

A 6.7 rating on IMDb is actually pretty good and it's now at a 6.9. So one may argue the movie is still popular not only after its release but improved after this post.

It's such childish crap. You can notice from the very start that it's a Disney movie.

reply

lol, its like going to a Burger King and saying you are at a Burger King.

reply

The movie is not called "Disney movie", so not the same at all whatsoever.

reply

you just said it was a disney movie. what does that have to do with National Treasure 1 and 2?

reply

They are both Disney movies. What does Burger King have to do with it???

reply

nothing, you said National Treasure was a disney movie. at the beginning of the movie it says its a disney movie.

reply

But the movie itself is not called Disney Movie, so wonkie anology.

Hey, but let me tell you a secret, I knew it was a Disney movie even before I saw it.😱

reply

reply
