I thought i'd be the only one

I genuinley felt I was going to be the only one who enjoyed this film, and I must say I'm impressed with all the positive feeback. Most borads on here are just filled with people complaining about something or other. That's too easy to do in my opinion. I along with others on here apparently, was particularly impressed by the way the story was told, the only thing I struggled with was picking up on the characters names (not that I was really bothered about that though) but the way the narrative progresses, and the way the music really drives this along is compelling. The were a few tunes on Discovery I wasn't keen on, but since the film, I've taken to all of them, and the movie wouldn't be right if just one of these tracks went missing. The number of references is pretty high, there are quite a few nods in this flick. It certainlly made a change from hearing two stupid fools see who would win in a shout-over-the-top-of-each-other contest, which seems to be a trademark of Amreican films these days. Follow Jackie Chan's example; less dialogue, more action. This is sheer proof that it can be done.

Even though there were no actually lines in this movie, I do believe it to be one of my all time favorites out of any genre of movie. I could watch (and do) this non-stop and I am never tired of it. Daft Punk created splendid music, and for it to be turned into a anime film, well it was like a dream come true for me. It is highly complex, yet so subtle it seems perfect in its semblance of simplicity. Tres excellent! J'adore Interstella 5555!
