I can't believe how awesome the story is with their being no dialogue. I expected a 1-dimensional linear story simply in beat with the music. How wrong I was. I never knew what was going to happen next while watching, but it all flowed very well and made sense in the end.
I really felt for the characters and the environments were amazing. This is a must see.
Aaaww, I'm so jealous of all the people who've seen it... I've never wanted to see any film as much as I wan't to see Interstella 5555. God, it has to be great... <3

Wow, I thought I would have to start a new thread. Anyways, I thought I would say I loved how they did the video with no real dialoge. That is so cool. I can't get enough of the video. I just got a DVD player about a month ago even though I had the movie for a couple of years

The entire movie gives you the atmosphere of this story!!! Isn´t it great??. I enjoyed it a lot!!!.

shareI never thought of a sequel to this movie, maybe because it's so special. The movie was "shot" AFTER the soundtrack was released. To me, this is what makes the movie so special (this and the fact that I waited it for like two years after the videos were aired). If there were a sequel, it would have the next Daft Punk album as a soundtrack, that is to say "Human after all". But 1) this latter album is a little less great (IMHO) than "Discovery" 2) the atmosphere is completly different 3) the story is over anyway 4) Daft Punk lost a lot of money on this movie (nobody wanted to buy it and I think it's EMI who bought it for $1 000 000 less than it costed). Good idea though.

well i don't know if its the right one..but on a music channel here in australia..between 12am - 1am they had this daft punk special and of course i watched it being a fan of *discovery*..it first showed *one more time* than continued to digital love,harder better faster stronger etc
is the movie you all talking about the anime characters that feature on the music clip...that dvd is like $15 here...i want it now.!

Daft punk should make another albom like Discovery. I would love to see another movie just like Interstella 5555.
but as someone has already pointed out on this board, this one even though it was brillent was a critical success but a commercial failure, with that in mind a sequel could never be made
