I love this movie..but one thing im not sure of...is the entire sequence just the imagination of the little kids? as all the characters are doll's lying on the floor of his bedroom.

Can anyone help??

Well, you can say the whole sequence is the imagination of the little kid, or a fairy tale created by Daft Punk and the kid dreams about it, anyway, we can't take it as a serious Sci-fiction movie, right?

Omg i always have to look at the spoilers and now its ruined...My own dumb fault.

It suggests that this was infact a real event in their universe, and that was the real true story of it, with the aid of daft punk making the music, as you can see the cameo of daft punk in the animated story.
