I'm not really sure how the general public feel about it but on re-watch I've been enjoying it a lot more (Besides them making Brooke a depressing mess over Julian). Haley is getting to shine a lot this season while bitchtoria going soft and Alex are other highlights. One of my favorite moments has been in episode eighteen between Lydia and Taylor at the hospital, really wish we got to see her around more after all this.

shareLike you I could have done without the Brooke/Julian/Alex crap. It was ok initially as I figured the writers needed there to be some drama but it got really old after a while. But other than that I enjoyed season 7. I thought Haley's depression was well done and Joy killed it during that storyline. I definitely enjoyed it more than season 8.
shareI think it's the series' worst season, but the best storyline is definitely Lydia's death. The Nate scandal was alright, especailly with Dan saving them but it wasn't as good as other seasons.
