Has to be one of my favorite TV villains ever. The guy was just pure evil and so strategic. He got under the skin of so many different characters. I'm supposed to hate him because he's a bad guy, but it was hard to hate him because he was so entertaining. Paul Johansson doesn't get enough credit.
I agree but I think I preffer Tony Soprano. Paul in a way reminds me of him. Otherwise he is a brilliant actor and his role is so pivotal in this series.
He was evil, but with a charming twinkle in his eye, a la J.R. Ewing.
Having him kill his brother though makes him a different kind of 'bad' than JR and Tony Soprano. J.R. would never kill his flesh and blood family and Tony, who could kill his own brother, wouldn't do it over something like ancient sibling rivalry and some old girlfriend.

He didn't do it for sibling rivalry or an old girlfriend. He did it because he thought it was Keith that tried to kill him. Now I'm not condoning murder, but that's pretty much the best reason to do it. Kill or be killed.
