I've had this series on DVD for the last few years and finally decided to try it out from the beginning and I honestly don't know how in the world I missed this series. It is absolutely incredible. I LOVE all of the characters- especially Rachel, she's probably my favorite- and all the ships- I love Lucas with both Peyton and Brooke and honestly can't choose who I would want Lucas to end up with- and of course, Love Naley- and all of the storylines. Oh and of course, LOVE Dan. He is the best Villian. I also miss Keith so much. This show is exceptionally well done. Is there a season I should stop at where the series goes downhill? (I'm currently in season 4).

I personally liked all seasons, others didn't. Its up to you on what you want to do, b/c even thought I might not like it, you might not and the same goes for someone that doesnt like it, but you might end up liking it. I say try it and see, if you dont like it, stop, if you like it keep watching.

IMO, 1-4 and 6 are the peaks of the show. Seasons 5 and 7 are the weakest, iirc. Season 8 was pretty good too. I never quit on the show and was never tempted to quit.

I believe the finales of seasons 4 and 6 were written to serve as potential series finales as they were not sure if they were going to be renewed or not. So, if you were going to choose a spot to quit prior to the finale, it would be the end of season 6. However, I'd watch it until the end, there are still some really good episodes.

I liked it all. 1-4 are definitely best but I also loved season 8. 5 is very dramatic but I personally disliked it. 6 is amazing and 7 is okay. I liked 4, 6, and 8 the best
