Haley's dad
So I'm watching season 7 and her mom mentions to Clay that she lost her husband a few years back. What? I never saw/ heard about that.

shareThat seems like a big thing to skip over. They mentioned them when they got married again saying they were at the first one or something. Just seems silly.
shareNot really, I mean we only saw Haley's parents in what like 1 or 2 episodes in S1 and for S2 i think we saw them 3 times. They were mentioned in S3 when Nathan and Haley got remarried but thats all i remember. They werent like Karen, Deb or Dan where we saw them alot.
shareYes it seems silly plot-wise about them not being at the wedding, but even sillier is that Keith's parents weren't at his wedding and Karen wasn't at Lucas's. It just happens bc they can't get the actors for that many episodes. As far as not showing her dad's death, I don't know what to tell you. As kem said, they barely appear in the early seasons, I think it's a couple episodes in S2 and that's it.
shareHer dad was played by Huey Lewis who tours a lot even today, so they probably just couldn't get him back on the show when they needed to.
