Why did Quinn leave David?
She was kind of mean to him
shareThe only reason that the show gave was her saying "he had changed". I took it as, they had grown apart and they weren't the same people they were when they first married.
shareYeah, they were both idealistic, but he eventually gave up on his dreams so he could support their family. She was able to find some success with her photography, but when he would put down or make fun of his old self, she felt like she made him this way.
shareThey gave a really poor explanation for why she left. It made her sound like she gave up on her marriage easily without trying to make it work. But really it was just an excuse for Haley's sister to return to Tree Hill out of nowhere and hook her up with Clay.
shareI got that feeling too.
shareThe writing got super lazy and it made Haley look like even more of an idiot when she got mad he moved on with Taylor
shareWhy couldn't Quinn just be some woman that wants to help Brooke & Haley cope with Peyton's departure and if they wanted her with Clay so badly why not have them already as a couple instead of wasting our time building a relationship we know is gonna happen her being Haley's out of nowhere sister seemed way too convenient
shareThey needed a new romantic storyline. All the other main characters were pretty settled in their relationships so they were desperate for something new.
shareDidn't they have 3 of those they didn't another one of those just because Lucas & Peyton were gone and they were trying to recreate them with different characters
shareLike I said though those other characters were settled in their relationships, and they wanted the drama and excitement of someone else getting together.
I didn't like Clay or Quinn but I'm sure the writers felt like they were adding a lot of excitement in the romance department by showing them getting together is all I'm saying.
It came across as she was just bored and felt her photography career made her to exciting to be with him.
