M.Night's only film that does NOT have a Blu-Ray release

A couple of days ago I went to buy The Village on Blu-Ray, only to find that there is no Blu-Ray release every other film that he's made, both before and after, has been released on Blu-Ray but not The Village. What the fuck?

This is a crime! Both Shyamalan's vision and Roger Deakins' cinematography deserve better than this.

I went ahead and ordered the DVD since that's all that was available and I watched it last night. It looks "fine." That is, it's perfectly watchable. The image quality isn't bad. But at the same time, it's also clearly not high-definition, and this is a film that deserves to be seen in HD.

Get your shit together, Disney! We better get a 4K release before you decide to pull the plug on physical media entirely!

Does anyone have any idea why The Village does not have a Blu-Ray release? It really is very strange, especially considering all of Shayamalan's lesser films, like Lady in the Water and The Happening, have been released on Blu.
