I've seen her in films before (50/50, Jurassic World, Spider-Man 3) but two of those roles she was more supporting and whilst she impressed in JW I found the film not that great.

However she has impressed me so much in this film. The range she showed and the chemistry that she had with Joaquin Phoenix was mesmerising.

I did adore this film, but her performance was for sure the highlight (along with the beautiful cinematography)

Her portrayal of Ivy Walker is by far her finest performance to date. In her more conventional, roles she falls flat and is quite forgettable. Her character was so annoying in JW. She was good in the Help.

I agree. I believe her greatest contribution to cinema is her talent for more dramatic roles and she should steer clear of comedic, silly projects. Not to say that JW was a comedy, but you get what I'm saying.
