SUPRISINGLY FUNNY

I caught this on tv this week and was pleasantly suprised at what i thought was going to be yet another *beep* english comedy. It isnt exactly sophisticated but if you like smutty humour, like i do, then its defo worth a watch! I usually hate Jonny Vegas but thought he had quite a few golden comedy moments in this (jumping over the fence) and overall the film was worth a watch. Its a million times better then some british 'comedies' and if we could get the talents of someone like Julia Davis (nighty night) to write a comedy that isnt made solely for American audiences "Oh lets laugh at the uptight, bumbling, apologetic British" then maybe we could make some headway! The success of 'The Office' has shown that we dont have to make 50 clones of 'The Full Monty' to get success abroad and we can come up with some clever, funny *beep*
