Felt a bit sick
Did anyone else feel a bit ill watching this?
shareI wouldn't go as far as to say I felt ill but I was surprised as just how unfunny it was. Perhaps I should have had a few beers before viewing it.

Actually, yes. I felt queasy all the way through. I sat there waiting to laugh (I didn't once) or even to be entertained. It was neither funny nor entertaining. The writing is truly dreadful and the performances are faxed in. The actors sleepwalk through this piece of utter rubbish whilst the movie, no doubt, thinks it is oh so daring and iconoclastic. It is neither. It is dreary, depressing and just utterly pathetic.
Powell and Pressburger thank God you are not still with us to witness this lowest point for the British film industry.
