The British advisor/guide in the vehicle is heard during the 'ambush' to call out the Capt's name- is he a traitor in US uniform who knocked out the Capt? I presume he led them into the trap.

The senator (Voight) murder- wouldn't it have been easier in daylight- and no DNA trace or witnesses- to have sent a mercenary at night?

The British guy works for Manchurian and knocks out Denzel so they can ‘replace’ the reality of what happened with their implanted version.

Probably, but Streep acted on impulse when she realised how little time she had before Voigt went public. The Manchurian guys admonish her for this the next day but... she’s a psycho.
