Question about the Security Camera Scene

How come whenever the FBI were monitering the security camera feeds before the shooting, they don't even notice Marco coming through the metal detector? They just look at the guy behind him, in the shades, for a second and then move on. I never figured that part out.

Oh, my God! I just knocked out Martha Kent!

Wake up! Pay attention!
An important plot point.
The agent has the tech rerun the sequence just so she and her fellow agent can note the time.

reply

Don't be such a asswipe. It is a relevant question. There is no need to be so ignorant about it.
Making the tech re-run the tape to make a note of the time makes no sense whatsoever. The agent could have simply made a mental note of the time and not drawn attention to Bennet.
The reason she made the tech re-run the tape was (a) To show us that Bennet had entered the building. (b) To show us that the Agent was aware the he had entered the building, thus adding to the suspense. and ( c ) To allow us to see how the would eventually cover up Bennets involvement with the assassination.

reply

That's why she drew attention to the person after Ben, to draw attention away from Ben but leave the time info on the screen.
and hey, sorry i overstated the "pay attention" thing, making it into a personal criticism instead of a reasoned discussion; i was just playing around. Now i don't remember the original question. I'll look again and see if i have anything other to throw in.

reply

LOL.. Well then I'm sorry too for the 'asswipe' remark, it was uncalled for and no way to speak to a lady.

reply

I believe the FBI agent was noting the time on the tape, and probably the angle, so they could get just the right angle on the face and hands they were going to superimpose over Marco's face and hands, later.
