A very funny spoof

Dracula 3000 is a very funny spoof on the whole vampire/creature in space feature. The actors have a good sense of comedic timing and pull the most out of some very corny lines. Casper Van Diem was excellent as the wise cracking Capt. Van Helsig. I laughed from beginning to end. Reminisent of a Bruce Campbell or an Elivra film.

The promotional material didn't really match the content of the film. It's advertised as a traditional horror movie when in reality it is a very funny comedy filled with sarcastic, tougne in cheek humor. You can tell the cast had a good time making this movie and never took it too seriously. Who could with lines like "With a body like that she would never make captain," and a black rapper who talks like a surfer?

If you enjoy spoofs and wisecracking comedy, you'll have a great time watching this film.
