Ohhhh, I just saw it.It was indeed a pile of crap. I am actually reading Dracula for a University unit and I thought at first it may be ok, as they mentioned the original ship Demeter (sp?) in the book. This changed to anger over how much they stole and then twisted from Bram Stockers mind, he would be appauled.
I gave it 1/10 - and the only reason it deserves a one is..., well I can't think of anything right now. A planet called Transylvania...MY GOD. It raised questions in me such as How did Dracula get to this planet in the first place?? and where on earth did that other name come from?? Orlock, sounds like some crappy @ss fantasy name.
I love vampire movies but this was just so bad there is not a name for it, though it still is not the worst movie I have ever seen. IT rates down there with the Blair witch Project....a WTF was that ending......Oh god, I could go on and on about bad acting, the lack of anyone actually getting stabbed in the heart (it was all in the gut)...Grrrrr, oh well, at least I didn't pay for it, someone else forked out the money and lent it to me to watch!

Are you people insane; this movie was sheer genius. As far as my actual enjoyment level is concerned, it was so funny I'd have to give it a 6 or 7. I gave it a 10 though. Just cos it's sheer genius in its hilarious badness. The ending was the most intelligent twist I've ever seen. Never saw it coming, gotta give it that.

I think Orlock may have been the name of that ghastly vampire in Murnau's old silent vampire movie, what was it... Nosferatu. But who's going to know what Orlock 3000 might be? Sounds like a two-seater car imported from the Ukraine. And I've always wondered what vampires fed on if they came from "vampire planets." Lower life forms? Human slaves? What happened on their Transylvania? Did they get greedy and eat everybody so they had to head for space and fresh blood? I know, the movie was mostly unsalvageable, but why make it dreckier than necessary with such atrocities as the gross, adolescent rantings of a junkie vampire who can't figure out if he's more fascinated by mayhem or masturbation. Blair Witch was just boring. This was revolting.
