Why didnt this get a cinema release?

This film was great, the story was much better than most of the trash out today, the acting was ok but it was very well shot, edited and just downright entertaining thriller that had me on the edge of my seat from begining to end..great stuff 9.5/10.

I hope for your sake you are kidding. This was horrifically bad, not the worst, but bad...real bad....This was the sort of movie I found myself asking "HOW DID CASPER VAN DEEN GET HIMSELF INTO THIS?"

Please..for your sake...watch more movies..hell watch more bad movies...even they will make this look bad.

reply

Are you joking? Oh good god please tell me you are joking. Were you possibly in a comatose state during the viewing of this movie?

"Other tan that, Mrs. Lincoln, How was the film?"

reply

I guess I can agree with your opinion on such a horrific movie. Waht I didn't like was that the character "187", was a drug addict. What type of rediculous idiots would send into space a drug addict, a former android whore, and a crew where none of them seem qualified for any of these missions. The ship looks more like something we might see in 2100, but not the year 3000. When I watched this movie, I could deffiently say that if that would be what the future is like, we might as well start WW3 and end humanity.

reply

I completely agree with Kristian. The plot is the most originial I`ve ever seen in years! Talking about the production, what can I say?! The set must be the best set ever. Love that corridor with all the pipelines (very original sci-fi concept), and those lovely shelves in the "controlroom". All the character look like battlehardened soldier that know the rearside from the frontside of a gun.

In fact. Dracula 3000 was so good, I needed three nights to see i through. The thrill was too much to bear.

Sure.... all you just read is a complete lie.

This film ROCKS......but only as a comedy, as a scfi horror well its just.....well not bad i dont think bad is the word to use, i think everyone should see it as it will make you smile as to just how bad a film can be made.

reply

Even as a comedy this is bad...real bad. This is almost unwatchable...but I did get through it. There were no good intentional comedic elements and even very few unintentional comedic ones...this movie was just bad all the way around.

reply

I cannot believe you think this movie is actually good. The ending happened so quick at the end, I didn't even expect that. If the captain of the ship is related to VanHelsing, why is he killed off so easily? Do they still have oxygen masks in 3000? Why is professor Holmwood in a wheel chair? By then they should have replaced the poor guy with new legs, like they have been doing since the 90's. This movie had a poor plot and low quality characters. If I could, I would rewrite the entire thing, only even in book form it would never sell. Also one more question...
How is dracula in space so origional, when a few years ago there was a file about "Jason", in space? Same plot same characters. People would not act so stupid in 3000. I hope.

reply

Hahaha! Funny you should mention the infamous Jason in space. Its on the Scifi Channel right after Dracula 3000 (which is on right now). Oh man. I've only seen about ten minutes of Dracula so far and I am dumbfounded. Count Vorlock from the Transylvania planet in the Carpathian System........*laughs his ass off* Its amusing so far but I'm sure I'll begin to tire of it after another ten....

reply

This is the worst movie I've ever seen !!!
I've tried to reach the end (fighting to remain awake) and even the final part is horrible. It seems they wanted to finish the film as soon as possible without coherence.
Who, I say who, have spent his money to produce this piece of crap.

0/10 is my rating. Who reimburse the money, and the time, i've spent ? :)

reply

It didn't get a cinema release because the movie is total trash. I couldn't believe how chessy this movie was. The guy who played dracula is the worst actor i have ever seen. God he was horrible. And don't get me started on the rest of the acting. CHESSY WITH A CAPITAL C,H,E,S,S,Y. Do not rent or buy this film. PLEASE DON'T YOU'LL REGRET IT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

reply

I will never forgive a movie for implanting the possibility of freaky sex between tiny lister and erica eleniak as an ending...and what is chessy?

reply

"Chessy": In the manner of a chess game, i.e. involving well thought out, complicated, intricate, far reaching strategies.. oh somebody stop me, please...

Somebody just didn't realize that the whole vampire thing has nearly been done to death, unless you're maybe Ann Rice, who does write chessy books in the above sense (complicated, well thought out, interesting, detailed etc.) or have some other really unique take on the whole thing.

reply

I think that was supposed to be cheesy, as in shabby or cheap, but that would actually be Velvetta then. Or probably, cheese food substitute-y. I remember waiting for a slice of that to melt in the toaster oven and seeing it actually burst in to flame. Who the hell do they think they're fooling?
