Made me rethink my life.

I watch this film 48 hours ago. And I can't take it off my mind.

I mean I'm thinking: Here is a bunch a people. They gathered up one day in some warehouse and spent a couple of days filming this movie. Why have they done that ? Why do they want us to see it? What was there motivation ? Why ? When they get up in the morning what's on their mind ?

I mean why am I getting up every morning and go to work. What is the meaning of it ? Why am I doing it ?

Before, I wanted to get marry and have children. Now I'm thinking: why would I do such a thing ?

What are we all doing down here anyway ? Who put us here ? Is there a difference whether I wait until I die at 75 years old or I put a bullet trough my head now ?

Really. Why are we all down here ?

If it's that bad I just have to see it. I love bad sci-fi movies. I've yet to come across a movie that makes me rethink life that much though.

I kept telling my friend how great Dracula 2000 and the sequels were, so he picked this one up (by mistake). He came into work the next day and couldn't believe I liked this movie, but then we straightened out the misunderstanding. It was kind of funny, because he said this was the worst movie he'd seen in years, and he thought I loved it.

Can't wait for Dracula 4000. Imagine the confusion if it's great. No no
2 is dumb 3 god awful but go with 4. Yeah check the reviews.
Even passable. Odd bad. Or is that Star Trek?
How can you go wrong with the Drac. Well guess anything goes in Merica.
Oh, the pre Halloween blitz. Revenge of New Orleans.
and the thing is spreading:

The Center for Disease Control has issued a warning about a new virulent Strain of Sexually Transmitted Disease. This disease is contracted through dangerous and high risk behavior.

The disease is called Gonorrhea Lectim (pronounced "gonna re-elect him"). Many victims contracted it in 2004, after having been screwed for the past 4 years, in spite of having taken measures to protect themselves from this especially troublesome disease.

Cognitive sequelae of individuals infected with Gonorrhea Lectim include, but are not limited to: Anti-social personality disorder traits;
-delusions of grandeur with a distinct messianic flavor;
-chronic mangling of the English language;
-extreme cognitive dissonance;
-inability to incorporate new information;
-pronounced xenophobia;
-inability to accept responsibility for actions;
-exceptional cowardice masked by acts of misplaced bravado;
-uncontrolled facial smirking;
-ignorance of geography and history;
tendencies toward creating evangelical theocracies;
-and a strong propensity for categorical, all-or-nothing behavior.

The disease is sweeping Washington. Naturalists and epidemiologists are amazed and baffled that this malignant disease originated only a few years ago from a Texas Bush.

I haven’t seen this film... but I would blame Bush. I mean, he is an idiot, Im sure he's responsible.

And who said IMBD isn’t the place to talk about politics? Sure this might not be a political film in the slightest, you might have different views, you might even openly disagree... but dont tell people what they can or can do... oh but then you are a conservative, you guys love being righteous.

...freak'n rednecks!

I just assumed it was the guy's (very long) signature... then all these nasty conservatives jump all over the guy. That'll teach him to express him opinion in a signature... hell, yeah! Bubba and Jobo sure showed him. ;)

reply

Its not his signature, I assumed the same thing. It doesnt appear on any of his other posts. Its just him being a jerk. And you know what the beauty of it is? Im not a conservative. I just hate people who cant let it go.

reply

I don't blame him for being disgruntled about the election. I wasn't real thrilled myself. Although I don't see much point in pasting gripes about it in unrelated movie forums. ;)

My goodness, lots of trolls in the dungeon today.

Look... it's got Udo Kier and an awesomely bad tagline. I'm totally in.

That's what made me want to see this film too. I thought Casper took over Gerard's role...until I got to this board.
I still want to see it though, sounds fun. How can you pass up Dracula in the future. ;)
