This movie sucks
Between this movie and that crappy "Thanksgiving" disaster, I believe that National Lampoon has totally tapped out the "Vacation" movies. Without Chevy Chase and Beverly De'Angelo, it is not a "Vacation" movie. If this movie was packaged to be it's own movie, not a sequel to a fantastic holiday flik, I think it would have went over better.
I do appreciate the attempt to have as many actors from the past vacation movies in this one. I do like that the movie not only has Randy Quaid, but also has Miriam Flynn, Dana Barron & Eric Idle.
And also, the movie doesn't tell the story of why Audry is going on a vacation with Eddie & Catherine, and not going to Christmas at Clark and Ellen's.
I'm glad to see Dana Barron made it back to the Griswold family. Now we just need Anthony Michael Hall back as Rusty.
I'd like to see at least one more Vacation movie with the original Griswold family from 1983.
