This movie was so bad, it...

"National Lampoon Christmas Vacation 2" was actually worse than another of this year's 'National Lampoon' flops, Fox's "Thanksgiving Family Reunion". Did anyone at NBC actually watch NLCV2? If so, how on earth could they have okayed it for television? I watched it through to the end, a feat which should earn a person a Purple Heart award or similar, just to see if it would suddenly pick up. As we all know, it didn't. Some franchises just don't know when to stop. I only hope this movie doesn't completely tarnish my images of Randy Quaid, Miriam Flynn, and Dana Barron for future viewings of the original "Vacation" and "Christmas Vacation".

Thanksgiving Family Reunion was on TBS. Not Fox.

I agree that this movie is just plain terrible. I realize how things work in Hollywood, but it is just a shame that they would greenlight this garbage and leave their previous "Vacation" films in bad company. I really hope that the executives were taught a lesson here. In fact, I am disappointed overall with the recent batches of National Lampoon movies. I haven't seen one worth mentioning since "Van Wilder".
