Does anyone know where the island scenes were filmed?

It was probably on a sound stage with green screen as a background. It's such a low budget piece of dirt I wouldn't be at all surprised.

It was all filmed in a studio....... you couldnt tell??????????

From the scenes which included a beach and ocean, it had to be along the California coast. The color of the water, the dirt, the foliage and vertical palm trees are identical to those found in Southern California and bore no resemblance to any tropical Pacific islands I've ever visited. Notice that they used camera angles which included as little distant background as possible. I'm sure the rest of the scenes were filmed on a studio lot. This was one LOW budget movie.

I remember reading that they filmed it in Australia
