Rating the Vacation movies with this new entry

That movie sucked. Nat'l Lampoon movies on TV usually do. I think it's safe to say the Vacation franchise is dead. Despite an impressive cast, this one flunks badly.

I agree with that remark :) Something people at NBC didn't understand is that Eddie was never meant to have the lead role. He was always the foot soldier, and Clark was the general.

Was it just me or the whole theme of being close to a civilization could be seen a mile away. And at the end the pilot tells them that his hotel is really close. I could see that joke a mile away.

after have watched the 2014 remake/sequel (or whatever mess it was) of the vacation movies this now raises in quality, i just saw ed asner in another brand new christmas movie air on tv the other day, how they got the eric idle (as in european vacation) cameo in this is weird, it also contains the original audrey (vacation). this usually airs every christmas in my country but not this year. does this hold some kind of record having the longest movie title (without it as an intentional joke), the complete title is "national lampoon's christmas vacation 2: cousin eddie's island adventure". i guess the sequels need to have clark and ellen in the main roles, cause even though the fourth "vacation" movie is pretty bad, people still seem to like it, and i watch it whenever it airs.
