Mitchell, here's some suggestions.
1. Have the cast together instead of separate most of the time like in season 4. We need that chemistry.
2. Follow through on Tobias being an Albino black man.
3. Take the 21/22 Jump Street route and poke fun at the fact you're
doing another season. Similar to what you did in the S.O.B.s (Save our Bluths) episode. Loved all the jokes in that one.

Great suggestions! I always liked S.O.B.s, even though Season 3 received the least praise of the initial 3 seasons. Season was just as good, I think people were upset that in a limited run that so many episodes were occupied by the Rita storyline.
Anyway... as for picking up... have the characters return to form. And just like you said, have the family together.
The more I watch season 4,the more I realize how desperate and awful it is. It simply doesn't work. It's not AD anymore. It's a corpse trying to convince you it's alive and well! Very poor stuff indeed!
If the want to have a fifth season they need to learn from the mistakes that they made during season 4.

2)Definitely have the characters interact like in the first three seasons. That was one of the strongest aspects of this show.Personally,I've always loved the dynamic between Buster and Lucille. Or Michael and Lucille. Or GOB and Lucille. Damn it,I really love Lucille. Jessica Walter is pure perfection!
3)Fix the characters personalities! Be subtle,you have pretty much ruined them,particularly Michael and Lucille. They don't need to have overt characterization,sometimes implying things certain things makes them funnier. For instance,I really hated the fact that Lucille was revealed in the original series finale to be the evil mastermind behind it all. We already knew that she had a bigger influence on the actions of the firm and the family while maintaining an image of a perpetually drunken and slightly clueless,albeit cold and sadistic,matriarch. I hated her in season 4 altogether. She seemed like a poor impression of Lucille.
Same thing with Michael. We know that deep down he's just that bad as the rest of them,despite the fact that he thinks otherwise. It was implied,you didn't need to beat us over the head with it.
