Morale of the story

I found this to be a very open movie with the moral being...If you want to fix the worlds problems, the key is to start at good family structures. Almost all serial killers, abusive men, rapists, murders etc. come from families where they have been subjected to some kind of abuse. Divorce, as potrayed in this movie, seems to be another form of abuse for the children. I mean how *beep* up is 1.) Walt going to grow up to be and 2.) the younger kid. If you have ever met a man or heard about something awful done to a man or woman in a relationship I found this movie to be a powerful expose into how abuse as a child can lead to broken humans

What was the morale to you?

Obviously Noah grew up and did alright, as this material is collected from real life experience. Many people grow up from hard circumstances and flourish, it is not a given that a "good family structure" is the basis of all that is good or prevent people have later ruined lives.
