Bernard and his student// Confusions about her attraction to him.

okay, so at one point in the film when they kiss, anna p's character said she wondered what it would be like to *beep* him, and he kind of is "turning her down" or pretending to be the responsible one saying he is her teacher.. i guess they don't have sex.

anyway, later, when walt walks in, she is resisting him and he is being a creep trying to get with her.. again they do not hook up.
and then next time she is spoken of the dad says she moved out.
so obviously she was weirded out by both bernard and walt (after the talent show where walt even was coming onto her)

so i was confused about why the student resisted bernard if she was attracted to him throughout the movie. what exactly changed in that scene where walt walked in on them where bernard was all, "come on take me in your mouth" and she was like "i dont think so" blah blah...

anybody?? i don't know if anyone still checks this board.

I love this movie (9/10) but I do agree this could have been fleshed out more.

First, they should have shown where he changed his mind from "I'm your teacher...". And in the second scene, it seemed like maybe he was just trying to get with her but she was refusing; I rewound it though to try to hear what they were saying, and the captions said "not now". So I think they were actually fooling around by that point, although it's not clear.
