Symbolic Characters?
SPOILERS. Ok, so obviously Babak was the same boy who kills Jack in Iraq and Jack saving him in his 'dream' is basically him forgiving the boy for murdering him, right? But I wonder, what is Jackie's role? I ask because the names are obviously very similar...Jack and Jackie. Too close to be an accident. So I'm guessing Jackie is supposed to be Jack. Does anyone have any theories on this? Why is Jack saving Jackie, is he trying to save himself? Forgive himself?
