Uh...Jacob's Ladder?

A solid flick, but seriously folks this has a very similar plot to Jacob's Ladder, nowhere as good though.

Other people have said this but I didn't get that at all. I love Jacob's Ladder and Occurance at Owl Creek Bridge but those stories made it very clear that the whole events were happenning as the lead characters were dying. This didn't do that so I choose to take it at face value - he did survive the Gulf War and did travel through time.

Open the door for Mr. Muckle!!

Yep, I'm with the other poster (although a spoiler warning for those who haven't seen either movie might be appropriate).

This movie may have certain stylistic elements in common with Jacob's Ladder, but the premise and plot are very different.

It is very similar in some regards to Twelve Monkeys, however.

Exactly!!
After Starks confronts Becker he just vanishes from the back seat of the jeep
Jackie acknowledges this in a scene where she says stay or don't go
That scene in the hospital where Stark goes along with Mackenzie's delusion and the patients all get excited reminded me of that scene in monkeys where Pitt's caracter does the same
