When I was in college, our public safety could at most kick you off campus. Harold and Kumar were two guys that didnt go to the school, so what authority did they actually have over them? They didn't look like cops, but guards. They also didnt have any weed on them, after the *beep* scene, so they also have nothing on them. Why run away? Why not just tell him to piss off if he just "wanted to talk?" Better yet, go get laid with the English girls. They wiped.

Campus police have the same law enforcement powers as regular police departments. Additionally, the guy in the movie found Harold and Kumar's joint in the stairwell, so that's basically possession of an illegal substance.

Also colleges are for anyone to attend of any age. The campus patrol wouldn't know they weren't students
