At the beginning of the movie, you see Cal holding something in his hand, smelling it, and throwing it. He does it, and as soon as he says "This..." you see him throwing something.
I believe he's sniffing cocaine or something, but I don't see any other drug references.

Ha ha very true, I would love to have spiked Eric water in the morning to get him high on ecstasy before the shooting. Something tells me he would have just said "Hey Dylan your a great guy lets just forget all this stuff"
