out of all the realstic films i've ever seen,

and i've seen many, this is probably the most realistic, unpretentious one.
i actually felt like i'm going through a real journey with them, like it was a documentary, and that feeling have made me feel a strange sickness at the shooting scene, almost like i am going to faint, cause right from the beginning of the film it all felt so real.

luckily, after exploring the world of eric harris and dylan klebold for a few years, since i was 14 (nothing to be concern about, i am just a very curious girl, i guess :), i noticed how many details were taken right from their lives, even a few dialogs, so... it made me feel a little "sanity" in all that too-real-to-be-a-movie mess.

When i rented this film i didnt know much about it other than its subject. I actually checked online after watching the film to see if the videos were REAL videos like the movie Tarnation.

very well done!

I personally rather Man Bites Dog http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103905/ to this. It's funny as well as being very disturbing.

Zero Day is about 2 kids lives leading up to their school shooting. Man bites dog is about a serial killer being followed around by a film crew. Comparing them will get you as far as comparing the godfather to the big lebowski...nowhere.

ZD is a knock on kids lives these days, and about pressure from kids/parents/etc... MBD is about the medias love for blood.

The only thing that connects them is the handheld video style. At that point I could say 'this is good, but I prefer cloverfield'. See how silly that is? Those movies have nothing in common but the filming style, just like ZD and MBD.

However, MBD is a great film. It's just so different from ZD that to compare them is just odd...
