Deleted Shooting scenes?

I checked something on the trivia section and it said Ben Coccio did heavy re-editing for the next six months after the 9/11 attacks. Plus the "officialreport.org" states that there was more going on in the shooting scenes, like when they killed the school security upon entering the school, how the killed a few more kids upon entering, how they threw pipe bombs at kids hiding in the kitchen, and how they open fired at a police officer down stairs who was patrolling the school to spot the shooters. What happened to that? Does anyone know? Why wasn't there a directors cut?

Whare did you specifically read about the extended shooting scene, link?

If it doesn't take you there, just try typing down "officialreport.org" on the toolbar.

makes sense, i mean they foreshadow killing the officer at the school, then never show anything related to it

The film was shot at the Purchase College of New York library, which is a stand-alone building. There was no cafeteria for them to shoot those scenes at. I am curious about what was cut from the library footage though.

Right, because its so out of the realm of possibility to think they could have had another location to film in.

If they did we likely would know about it. It isn't mentioned anywhere on anything containing any information pertaining to the film.
